Job Description:

Randstad is seeking casual Customer Service Officers and/or Kiosk Attendants to join the Golden Grove Recreation and Arts Centre and Turramurra Recreation Centre, this role will be dual location. These North Eastern based centres are one of several Adelaide leading venues for performances, functions, events and sports hire. Located in the City of Tea Tree Gully, the Golden Grove Recreation and Arts Centre includes a 3 court stadium, meeting rooms and theatres. The facility is a 7 day a week business and operates up to 16 hours a day. The Turramurra Recreation Centre is a two court stadium with an additional two studios, meeting room and kiosk, It offers junior and senior netball and Basketball competitions, Junior gym programs for children aged 0 to 5 years, a creche, fitness programs for adults and specialised fitness and strength training programs for older adults.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all patrons
  • Collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Assist with the Junior Gym program on a Tues & Fri morning - being physically fit and able to set up and pack down equipment
  • Deal appropriately with cash handling and EFTPOS machines
  • Assisting the kiosk coordinator with day to day tasks
  • Serve snacks, meals and hot / cold drinks in the kiosk area
  • Responding appropriately to emergency situations
  • Resolve problems and handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally

Requirements:

  • Working with Children Check
  • National Police Check
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Barista Certificate (highly regarded)
  • Food handling certificate (highly regarded)
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (highly regarded)
  • First Aid Certificate (highly regarded)
  • previous experience in a customer facing role
  • Secondary School/High School education
  • 1 year experience
  • Customer service, admin, payroll, receptionist, kiosk attendant, gym, junior skills
