Customer Service Officer

• Providing excellent customer service over the phone with direct enquiries
• Recording details of the calls as needed and ensuring the enquiry has been followed up
• Updating customer orders in the system and checking freight times
• Updating the spreadsheet as required
• Backing up the data entry team if they need any extra support
• Administrative tasks as required by management
• Updating the digital planning platform as needed, Asana
• Transferring calls and escalating enquiries to the relevant departments as needed
• Ensuring the emails and social media pages are checked and the direct messages and enquiries are responded to in a timely manner

• Excellent customer service skills over the phone and responding to emails and messages
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to be flexible and adaptable to assist the data entry teams if needed
• The ability to multitask for efficiency
• Good problem solving skills
• The ability to prioritise tasks as needed with a strong sense of initiative
• Good experience with Social Media to navigate through comments and direct messages from clients
• Great IT skills with the ability to learn and pick up new systems
• Strong attention to detail and experience using Excel
• Experience working within an import/ distribution or retail company will be highly regarded but not essential.
