This contract to permanent position offers an opportunity to lead a collaborative team while driving exceptional customer experiences in the wholesale distribution industry.
Job Responsibility:
Provide hands-on leadership to create a structured, supportive, and collaborative team culture focused on enhancing the customer experience
Supervise and develop a team of Customer Service Representatives and Parts & Shipping staff, ensuring accountability and effective teamwork
Oversee daily operations such as case management, workload distribution, and staff scheduling to maintain optimal service levels
Manage the entire Parts and Shipping function, including order processing, inventory coordination, fulfillment workflows, and warranty-related shipments
Drive process improvement initiatives to optimize order accuracy, shipping coordination, and customer satisfaction
Develop and maintain accurate standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials to ensure consistency across the team
Monitor and analyze performance metrics related to call handling, case resolution, and customer satisfaction scores to identify areas for improvement
Prepare and deliver reports on department performance, customer inquiries, and emerging trends to senior leadership
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues, streamline processes, and support business growth
Lead training programs for new team members and existing staff, including onboarding, refresher courses, and job shadowing to enhance service quality
Requirements:
Proven ability to lead and manage a customer service team while fostering a positive and performance-driven environment
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to engage respectfully across teams and partners
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a knack for managing multiple priorities effectively
Demonstrated business acumen and analytical abilities to interpret and present data-driven insights
Experience implementing new systems, processes, or workflows to improve operational efficiency
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas clearly and professionally
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Proficiency in CRM platforms, including Salesforce, with a background in customer account management and dispatch systems
