Job Responsibility:

  • Answers and responds to all incoming phone calls from customers – serves the first point of contact for customers and business partners
  • Processes all orders each day in a timely manner and within established deadlines – Ensures that all orders are reviewed, released or action taken
  • Offers customers up-to-date product knowledge and communicates order variances
  • Understand and adhere to customer’s requirements for order management
  • Validate and ensure all orders have correct pricing, promotions and off invoice discounts along with appropriate backup where required
  • Communicate and coordinate with warehouse, freight carriers and team members to ensure orders are fulfilled, shipped and delivered on time and in accordance with the customer instructions
  • Research customer inquiries and delivery issues through investigation, engaging third parties as required to resolve
  • Process and investigate customer post-delivery enquiries or complaints
  • Process any credit notes or related billing corrections if required within the appropriate timeframe as it relates to month-end and quarter-end cut offs
  • Maintain data in our master files, for example but not limited to pricing, promotions and customer-bill and ship to information, or EDI if needed
