Job Description:

As the first point of contact for customers at our Dandenong branch, your primary focus will be delivering outstanding customer service while supporting the day‑to‑day operations of the branch. This is a varied and active role that combines customer service, operational coordination, administrative tasks, and hands‑on yard work.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting customers in person, over the phone, and via email
  • Preparing hire schedules, quotes, contracts, and invoicing
  • Coordinating equipment deliveries, transfers, pick‑ups, repairs, breakdowns, and portable toilet pump runs
  • Working closely with the operations and yard teams to keep jobs running smoothly
  • Actively assisting in the yard, including loading and unloading equipment
  • Liaising with suppliers to support customer and operational needs
  • Maintaining a strong safety‑first culture for colleagues and customers at all times

Requirements:

  • Practical problem-solving, communication and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to support customers and branch operations
  • Retail sales or customer service experience
  • Enjoy helping customers both in person and over the phone
  • A desire to provide amazing customer experience
  • General computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Forklift license will be highly regarded
  • Trade, or previous hire industry experience, will be highly regarded
