We are seeking a well-organised and passionate Customer Service Coordinator to join a highly established manufacturing business in Bridgwater. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations within the service department, whilst also working collaboratively with the other teams across the business. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering a seamless and professional service.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the service inbox and phone line, resolving customer queries or directing them to the appropriate team
Raise warranties, source parts, and determine warranty eligibility
escalate non‑warranty cases for quotation
Process purchase orders, quotations, sales orders, dispatch notes, and engineer allocations using Sage and DriveWorks
Coordinate engineer schedules, book travel and accommodation, and manage employee card orders
Keep customers updated on order and service progress
Handle decontamination bookings and upload certificates for both suppliers and customers
Manage engineer reports, dispatch parts, update KPI trackers, and support the service coordinator and accounts team
Work collaboratively across departments and support cover for team members during absence
Adhere to all company health & safety procedures
Requirements:
IT literate experience using Sage would be beneficial however not essential
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy
Process driven
Prior experience working in a fast-paced role, meet deadlines, both independently and as part of a team
Proficient organisational skills, able to respond to continually changing business needs
Willingness to work flexibly, with a calm, positive and motivational outlook to each task
Personable nature, with confident and effective communication and listening skills
Nice to have:
