Job Description:

As a Customer Coordinator, you will support the in-store customer experience team by overseeing day-to-day operations, enhancing customer relationships, and contributing to the IKEA culture.

Job Responsibility:

  • oversee day-to-day operations assigned by the team leader
  • troubleshoot and apply appropriate corrective actions such as emergency and incident response, authorization, access, etc.
  • enhance the shopping journey of visitors by collaborating with all functions to increase co-worker competence and knowledge
  • ensure customers receive consistent information throughout their shopping journey
  • record information in relevant systems to improve the customer's future shopping experience
  • enhance customer relationships to boost sales and ensure sustained profitability
  • offer alternative solutions that meet the needs of individual customers when needed
  • forge a team mindset centered around first time right for every customer
  • ensure a positive customer journey
  • take part in additional department responsibilities to secure daily operation for co-workers and customers
  • contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers

Requirements:

  • 3 years of related experience
  • 1 year of experience in a customer service and customer-focused environment
  • physical demands include lifting, pushing/pulling, sliding/transferring, and carrying occasionally (1-25lbs)
  • open availability required Monday-Sunday including holidays, nights, and weekends
