We are looking for a Customer Service/Collections Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks related to collections and billing inquiries, ensuring timely resolution and excellent customer support. This position offers the opportunity to work in the dynamic real estate and facilities management industry.
Job Responsibility:
Manage commercial and consumer collections processes, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution
Investigate and resolve billing inquiries, including discrepancies and customer concerns
Process address changes and update customer information accurately in the system
Handle payment media and reconcile accounts to ensure proper documentation
Sort and organize daily mail to ensure correspondence is addressed promptly
Utilize Yardi software and other tools to track collections activities and maintain records
Communicate effectively with customers to address payment issues and negotiate solutions
Collaborate with internal teams to support credit and collections operations
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations when handling sensitive information
Requirements:
Proven experience in commercial and consumer collections processes
Strong knowledge of credit and collections practices
Excellent problem-solving skills to address billing and payment discrepancies
Proficiency in using Yardi software is highly desirable
Outstanding communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Solid organizational skills to handle mail sorting and account updates
Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards
