Applications are invited for a Part-Time (on call as required) Customer Service Clerk. Under the direction of the Customer Service Supervisor, this position is responsible and accountable for providing excellent customer service in a professional and courteous manner. The position is also responsible for a variety of administrative duties associated with the service delivery of the Customer Service Centre.

Requirements:
Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent acceptable experience
Two (2) years recent experience in a substantially similar work environment
Two (2) years recent experience in cash handling
Ability work quickly and accurately under pressure
Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated organizational and decision-making skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
Knowledge of and ability to interpret City by-laws
Proficient in computer applications, i.e, Microsoft Office 2010+, CLASS, Sunguard
Good working knowledge of office methods and procedures
