Job Description:

Individual must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be sensitive to external and internal customer needs, and be able to apply analytical skills and exercise sound judgment while interacting with internal and external customers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform various detailed billing functions and analysis in connection with gas and electric operations
  • Take ownership of and responsibility for every task assigned, anticipating customer expectations and giving the highest priority to customer satisfaction
  • Responding to emergency situations to meet customers’ needs is part of every employee’s role
  • May be called to assist during an emergency outside of normal responsibilities, work hours and location

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, Associate degree preferred
  • Strong Team Player, however can work independently as necessary
  • Positive Attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal written and verbal skills are required
  • The ability to be detailed oriented, but can visualize the larger impact of a series of transactions
  • Comfortable working with both automated and manual processes
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to multi-task and address multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong analytical skills
  • 2 years of Customer Service Experience
  • or equivalent preferred. Other experience will be considered

Nice to have:

Proficiency in Excel and Word is a plus
