Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Customer Service Attendant to join our retail fuel team in a dedicated mid shift and closing role. This position is suited to someone confident working independently, particularly from 5:00pm onwards, and who takes pride in maintaining high standards, safety, and accuracy at the end of each trading day.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver professional and friendly customer service at the fuel console
  • Operate point-of-sale systems accurately for fuel and retail transactions
  • Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions in line with company procedures
  • Work independently from 5:00pm, confidently managing the console and site operations
  • Complete end-of-day reconciliation and closing procedures accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the console, forecourt, and retail areas prior to close
  • Follow all safety and security procedures, including lock-up processes
  • Ensure the site remains safe and secure during evening trade

Requirements

  • Highly reliable and punctual, particularly for closing shifts
  • Comfortable and confident working solo from 6:00pm (must be over 18)
  • Strong attention to detail, especially with cash handling and reconciliation
  • Calm, confident, and capable of making sound decisions independently
  • Ability to follow structured procedures and security protocols
  • Flexible availability, including weekends
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
