Job Responsibility

  • Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
  • register sales on assigned cash register
  • provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
  • engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance
  • resolve customer issues and answer questions
  • model and share customer service best practices
  • recommend items for sale and trade-up/companion items
  • process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges
  • keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised
  • take inventory and maintain records
  • check in and price merchandise
  • implement asset protection procedures
  • ensure compliance with laws regarding regulated products
  • construct and maintain displays
  • assist with separation of food items
  • assist with stock rotation
  • provide customer service in photo area
  • assume web pick-up responsibilities
  • assist with exterior and interior maintenance
  • comply with all company policies and procedures
  • complete special assignments and other tasks
  • attend training and complete PPLs.

Requirements

  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
  • willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

Nice to have

  • Six months of experience in a retail environment
  • prior work experience with Walgreens.

  • Distributes month end AR statement to stores. Stores can get statement from Storefront but may also mail or email
  • Maintains miscellaneous account for transactions where funds are received from outside and then paid for various activities
  • Generates report where info is plugged in by the DC for any store ARs that are past due (equal to or over $1000) and distributes to HQ
  • Reconciles the bank account that all deposits go in to from local depository account to HQ's bank account
