This is a fast-paced role that combines customer service with safety and security responsibilities to ensure passengers have a safe and smooth journey.
Job Responsibility:
Assist passengers with enquiries about train times, platforms, and station facilities
Provide excellent customer service and clear travel information
Carry out routine security checks around the station
Monitor station activity and report any suspicious behaviour or safety concerns
Support passengers with accessibility needs, luggage, and general guidance
Handle customer issues or complaints in a calm and professional manner
Work closely with station staff and transport authorities to maintain a safe environment
Requirements:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive and responsible approach to safety and security
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Good level of physical fitness, as the role involves long periods on your feet
Willingness to work long shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Previous customer service or security experience is desirable but not essential
