Job Responsibility:
Deliver welcoming, efficient, and knowledgeable front-of-house service for all visitors, tours, and events
Support retail, admissions, volunteer coordination, and public programmes, ensuring high standards and smooth operations
Engage with visitors, schools, and community groups, sharing information about Hawkes Bay Museum, exhibitions, and Hawke’s Bay attractions
Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment and continuous improvement of systems, processes, and experiences
Play a key role in supporting Hawkes Bay Museum's Friends programme, volunteer activities, and community engagement initiatives
Requirements:
Experienced in delivering consistently high-quality customer service in a public-facing role
Strong communicator with effective interpersonal skills and a calm, solutions-focused approach
Highly organised, with excellent time management and the ability to work autonomously while staying connected to the team
Flexible, collaborative, and committed to contributing to a fun, positive, and inclusive working environment
Confident with Microsoft Office, digital systems, cash handling, and adapting processes to improve efficiency
