Job Description:

Are you a "people person" with a passion for great food and coffee? Mood Food Grand Central is looking for energetic Customer Service Assistants to join our team. We aren't your average service station; we are a gourmet hub serving high-quality Tasmanian produce, barista-made coffee, and fresh deli meals to the Launceston community.

Job Responsibility:

  • Customer Experience: Provide a warm, friendly welcome and efficient service to every guest
  • Food & Beverage: Assist with food preparation (sandwiches, salads, hot food) and maintain strict hygiene standards
  • Barista Service: Prepare premium coffee for our morning commuters and late-night travellers
  • Retail Operations: Accurately process fuel and in-store transactions using the POS system
  • Merchandising: Ensure our shelves stocked with local Tasmanian wines, beers, and artisanal groceries are beautifully presented and fully replenished
  • Store Pride: Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment across the deli and retail areas

Requirements:

  • A current National Police Check
  • Ability to complete a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screen

Nice to have:

Previous retail or hospitality experience
