Job Description:

We’re now looking for a Yard Operative to join the team at our St Neots branch. If you enjoy working outdoors, being part of a practical team, and delivering excellent customer service, we’d love to hear from you.

Job Responsibility:

Helping customers find what they need
Handling deliveries
Delivering orders to customers
Loading and unloading vehicles
Looking after yard

Requirements:

Helping customers find what they need offering friendly, practical advice and sharing knowledge of products
Handling deliveries checking in goods, storing them safely and keeping everything organised
Delivering orders to customers using branch van as and when required
Loading and unloading vehicles working closely with branch and driving teams
Looking after yard keeping it safe, tidy and secure for customers and colleagues
A valid UK driving licence is required
Forklift licence is a bonus but not a dealbreaker

Nice to have:

Forklift licence
Class 2 HGV licence (future training opportunity)
