We’re now looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Service Advisors to join our Chester Head Office team. If you enjoy helping people, solving problems, and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you. As a Customer Service Advisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting customers who have booked their holiday through our third-party partners. You’ll manage inbound enquiries via telephone and client portals, helping customers feel informed, reassured, and excited about their holiday plans. You’ll work closely with colleagues across our Customer Success function to deliver efficient, compliant, and high-quality customer experiences every day.
Job Responsibility:
Delivering exceptional customer service across phone, email, and written communication channels
Supporting customers with pre-stay and in-stay queries
Handling inbound enquiries including booking amendments, payments, and general service questions
Conducting outbound calls to support and assist customers
Explaining insurance cover options and handling objections confidently and professionally
Accurately recording customer interactions within internal systems
Working in line with FCA and company compliance standards
Identifying opportunities to improve processes and customer experience
Acting as a proud ambassador for the Sykes brand and values
Requirements:
Previous customer service experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Confident handling objections and influencing customer decisions positively
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable working in a regulated environment
Experience using CRM or contact centre systems
Ability to multitask and work efficiently across multiple systems
Nice to have:
Experience within the travel or holiday industry
Experience working in a target-driven environment
