Job Responsibility

Conduct assessments of injuries and refer patients to the appropriate healthcare services

Establish and execute treatment plans based on patient evaluations and health goals
Continuously monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed to ensure effective outcomes
Can direct athletes in performance enhancement programs for fitness or injury prevention
Identify and attend to factors affecting the patient’s physical and emotional comfort, ensuring sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and needs
Plan and facilitate patient discharge by providing at-home care instructions, family education, community referrals, and necessary equipment orders
