Job Description:

To ensure a positive and joyful shopping experience for all IKEA visitors and customers. This role involves handling customer issues efficiently with empathy, ensuring department efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and working towards fulfilling the store's four tasks.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure a positive and joyful shopping experience for all IKEA visitors and customers
Ensure the department is fast and efficient for customers, and cost-effective for the IKEA store
Ensure that customers' issues are handled efficiently and with empathy
Actively working towards fulfilling the four tasks of the store
Record information accurately in relevant systems
Know the Customer Relations action plan and support goals and targets
Know daily and weekly service targets
Develops strong knowledge of delivery and assembly facilities
Optimise relationship with customers to drive sales growth and sustained long-term profitability
Solve customer complaints within level of authorisation
Ensure safety guidelines are met within Customer Relations area
Support front counter in E&R, Home Delivery and Merchandise & Pick Up area when required

Requirements:

Ability to use and take personal initiative ability to make decisions
Demonstrates a polite and friendly manner face-to-face customer service experience
Enthusiastic about work and working with others in a team
Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
Good personal disciplines
A flexible approach/open to change
Good attention to detail
Assertive and able to remain calm and controlled when under stressful times
Ability to handle several tasks at the same time
Computer literate
