As a customer relations co-worker, you'll be at the heart of creating a welcoming and hassle-free shopping experience for our customers. At IKEA it's all about our customers, and in Customer Relations we build and retain long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers in a multichannel retail environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service—by being helpful, friendly, and solution-oriented in every interaction with the customers
  • Handling complaints and inquiries—Listen actively, resolve concerns efficiently, and manage escalation when needed
  • Optimizing the shopping experience—Ensuring that the store is well-equipped and customer-ready
  • Processing payments—Ensuring accurate transactions and a smooth checkout experience
  • Assist with product assembly & exchanges—help customers with assembly concerns and facilitate component exchanges
  • Supporting store goals—Contribute to the store's commercial action plan to drive sales and profitability
  • Ensuring store safety & compliance—Maintain a secure and safe environment for all
  • Promoting IKEA values Embody and reflect IKEA's values in every customer interaction

Requirements:

  • Experience in customer service and a retail environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • A genuine passion for home furnishing and an understanding of customers' everyday life at home
