Job Description:

At IKEA it’s all about our customers, and in Customer Relations we build and retain long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers in a multichannel retail environment. Job Responsibility:

Providing exceptional customer service: Be helpful, friendly, and solution-oriented when interacting with customers
Handling complaints and inquiries: Listen actively to customers, resolve their concerns efficiently, and escalate issues when necessary
Optimizing the shopping experience: Ensure your workspace is well-equipped, organized, and efficient at all times
Processing payments: Handle transactions accurately and efficiently while ensuring a positive checkout experience
Assisting with product assembly & exchanges: Help customers with assembly concerns and exchange components when needed
Supporting store goals: Understand and contribute to the store’s commercial action plan to maximize sales and profitability
Ensuring store safety & compliance: Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and colleagues
Promoting IKEA values: Uphold and reflect IKEA’s values in all customer interactions

Requirements:

Experience in customer service and retail environment
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Passion for home furnishing and an understanding of customers’ everyday life at home
