Reporting to the Customer Relations Team Leader, this Associate role ensures a positive and joyful shopping experience for all IKEA visitors and customers. This role requires flexibility in work hours, work schedule is depending on store operational requirements. Working on public holidays and weekends.
Job Responsibility:
ensure a positive and joyful shopping experience for all IKEA visitors and customers
ensure that customers have a memorable shopping experience
handle and resolve customer difficulties, particularly in IKEA products assembly, and also exchange components parts when they are needed
develop strong knowledge of all items to effectively handle enquires of customers
escalate higher issues with relevant information to a manager
ensure the IKEA store is a safe and secure environment at all times
understand the IKEA Concept, global solutions, tools and working methods
Requirements:
experience working in a customer-service role and a fast-paced retail environment
strong interpersonal and communication skills
strong team player
able to remain calm and controlled and able to provide solutions when faced with customers in stressful situations
able to handle stress and work in an extremely fast-paced environment
