Blackbaud, a SaaS solution provider that powers Social Good through software, services, expertise, and data intelligence, is seeking a Product Data Informatics Developer who has a passion for data and an obsession for delivering high quality solutions and actionable insights to internal and external customers. You will lead analysis on the product usage and customer behaviour patterns seeking to identify ways to increase customer success, engagement & retention. You will be part of a data team focused on delivering quantifiable value via data modelling, data automations, and data applications, as well as operational reporting. Your efforts will align with and enhance activities in our data governance, data engineering, and data science pillars and directly impact our ability to use data for decision-making and driving outcomes for our Customer Success team, and our customers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Analyse Product Usage data to identify predictable & actionable patterns
  • Analyse Customer Health Scores to identify predictable & actionable patterns
  • Analyse user behaviour, feature adoption, and lifecycle events to provide actionable insights
  • Conduct trend analysis to identify anomalies, growth opportunities, and early warning signs of product issues
  • Write complex SQL queries to extract, model, and analyse large datasets from product usage logs and data warehouses
  • Act as data custodian and subject matter expert on Product usage data
  • Partner with SMEs across Customer Success & Product teams to interpret requirements and deliver insights into critical business processes
  • Collect large amounts of data using analytical, statistical, and programmable skills and develop solutions tailored to meet Blackbaud's needs
  • Develop data models, dashboards, and reports in Qlik Sense, Salesforce & Excel to support the overall performance and reporting
  • Develop data integrations through extracting, transforming and loading (ETL) data from various sources
  • Design, develop, and deploy Qlik Sense applications leveraging front-end development and visualization best practices
  • Proven ability to translate data into product decisions (roadmap, feature prioritization, UX improvements)
  • Create and maintain technical documentation

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience as a BI/DW professional or Qlik Sense Developer
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, or related field
  • A strong analytical and logical mindset
  • Ability to centralize usage intelligence across Qlik Sense web integration, Gainsight, Salesforce, and product telemetry to create unified insights
  • Highly advanced SQL capabilities encompassing sophisticated scripting, stored procedure development, nested and optimized queries, trigger logic, analytic function usage, and end‑to‑end performance tuning
  • Strong communication skills (verbal/written) to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Significant experience with concepts and techniques of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing
  • Strong database design and SQL skills
  • Experienced in RDBMS such as MS SQL Server, Oracle etc
  • 3+ yrs experience performing quantitative analysis
  • Knowledge of Agile principles and experience on a scrum team
