IKEA Sheffield are looking to welcome Customer Order Pickers to join our amazing Fulfilment Team. Be the friendly face that ensures our customers' online orders are ready for a seamless pickup experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Pick orders for both customers and delivery team including handing goods out and processing uncollected orders
  • Working in a customer-facing environment, delivering great customer service
  • Manually handle all products ranging from LACK Coffee Tables to PAX Wardrobes
  • Working with or around heavy machinery, such as Forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse
  • Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both customers and co-workers

Requirements:

  • Previous experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Motivation to make things happen in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using computers and handheld devices to support with checking and handing out of stock or to answer customer questions
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workload swiftly and with attention to detail
  • Adaptable mindset allowing to switch between different tasks/areas and work within tight timeframes
  • Proactively look for tasks to be done and use initiative to complete them in an efficient and effective manner
