Job Description:

Support the Data Owners to achieve DG objectives (Quality target, Standard/Process refinement, etc.) and speak for BU specifications. Responsible for operational DG activities (monitoring and maintaining DQ) in line with standards with Data Owners. Advocate data best practices at BU and Responsible for facilitating change management activities. Hygiene checks on master data and collaboration with BSO MD DQ Team. The time involved (ideal delegated as 90%+ or depend on BUs).

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the Data Owners to achieve DG objectives (Quality target, Standard/Process refinement, etc.) and speak for BU specifications
  • Responsible for operational DG activities (monitoring and maintaining DQ) in line with standards with Data Owners
  • Advocate data best practices at BU and Responsible for facilitating change management activities
  • Hygiene checks on master data and collaboration with BSO MD DQ Team
  • Be the custodian of the best Master Data-related practices and ensure Data Quality improvement via ongoing tracking of relevant MD attributes and KPIs

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Master Data management roles as a strong performer or with previous functional experiences connected to MD intensively
  • Strong knowledge of MD and its related core business processes and knowledge
  • Proficiently hands-on with MD tools and related systems: Winschuttle, SSF, SQ00, BW, etc.
  • Understand the Data Structure and Data modelling with hands-on experiences
  • Experience and strong interest in learning some advanced data wrangling and visualization techniques, e.g. SQL, Python, PowerBI, Alteryx etc.
  • Previous experiences in stakeholder management
  • Willing and able to handle the “love” and “hate” situation with stakeholders when enforcing compliance to Data Standards
  • Involved in the BU MD-related sub-processes optimization and RACI definition or some change management initiatives is a plus
  • Previous experiences in applying data & analytics work to do auto/semi-auto quality checks and data issue root-cause analytics is a big plus
  • Having been involved in SAP migrations (~2010 - 2014) or main contributors of other previous Group Or BU MD initiatives is a big plus
