The Customer Inventory and Site Support Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day interactions with our key customers and friends in the field. This position presents an exciting opportunity to work closely with suppliers and customers, drive revenue growth, and contribute to the success of our organization.
Job Responsibility:
Coordination of materials to include pick-up and delivery of stock to customers sites from various suppliers and warehouses
Packaging, loading and unloading materials in a safe and consistent way
Coordination of customer stock levels at multiple sites ensuring that min-max levels are met, the correct material is delivered and stocked, the overall customer location of the material is clean and organized
Scan/Replenishment of turnaround and VMI inventory
Responsible for maintenance of all bar code labels and tags
Maintain DISA status for drug and alcohol testing
Attend all mandatory customer site trainings to ensure site drive in status remains in effect
Role will also include Inside Sales in our AWC business system
Desire to learn skills associated with selling the VMI program
Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and ensuring timely delivery of products
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborating with various teams, including purchasing, logistics, sales, customer service, and finance to ensure smooth operations and effective inventory management
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
TWIC Card
Have a valid driver’s license with CDL endorsement
Able to pass and maintain a background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screening
Good customer service and communication skills
Reliable, organized, detailed, and focused
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products with a focus on Excel
Desire to learn and use AWC business system for basic tasks as deemed necessary
Ability to learn and use scanner software application
Able to work overtime and weekends if necessary and when on call
Knowledge of inventory control principles, procurement processes, and warehouse operations
