Job Responsibility:
Act as a strategic partner to build a data-driven culture that utilizes market research to inform decisions and deliver business profitability
Deliver high-quality, actionable insights that drive business decisions while identifying and implementing innovative research methodologies
Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and foster strong cross-functional relationships with counterparts in Medicine, Operations, and Legal departments
Ensure all market research and daily tasks comply with legal rules, internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, Japan Data Protection Law)
Guarantee that relevant information is integrated into analyses and that work within responsible areas is optimized and aligned with the broader department strategy
Requirements:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, or Finance
Specific knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulations and the healthcare system
Expertise in designing, executing, and interpreting both quantitative and qualitative market research
Ability to translate insights into actionable strategic recommendations
Strong strategic thinking abilities to connect insights to tactical planning
Ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally and influence multiple stakeholders
Competence in managing external vendors and multiple research projects
Self-management skills to prioritize independently and deliver under pressure
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Japanese
