We are looking for a dedicated Customer Experience Specialist to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery and fostering strong relationships with clients. You will collaborate across departments to address customer needs and provide tailored solutions. This is a long-term contract position offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to client satisfaction and operational excellence.
Job Responsibility:
Educate clients on company policies, processes, and online services to ensure seamless navigation and understanding
Respond promptly to inquiries regarding coverage, billing, underwriting, and other aspects of benefit plans
Collaborate with internal teams specializing in billing, claims, and underwriting to resolve client issues efficiently
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of service activities to provide accurate and detailed updates to clients
Identify and address internal process or technology issues impacting customer satisfaction, proposing and implementing solutions
Participate in organizational projects and committees aimed at enhancing service efficiency and knowledge sharing
Ensure accurate data entry for new producer setups in internal systems to facilitate smooth onboarding
Represent the company professionally while building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
Assist in the planning and prioritization of customer queries to uphold responsiveness commitments
Requirements:
Proven experience in customer service or related roles, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize incoming queries effectively
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and navigating multi-browser platforms
Familiarity with group insurance products, contracts, and state regulations
Analytical skills to assess and resolve client issues efficiently
Ability to adapt to changes and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of underwriting principles and practices is highly desirable
Willingness to travel up to 10% as required for the role
