We are looking for a Customer Experience Specialist to join our team in San Diego, California. In this contract-to-permanent role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional service to individuals seeking assistance through our call center. Job Responsibility:
Handle incoming inquiries by providing accurate information, referrals, and assistance tailored to client needs
Record and maintain detailed documentation of all interactions within web-based systems
Stay informed about current services, programs, and community resources to provide up-to-date guidance
Work collaboratively with internal teams to address client concerns and ensure their needs are met effectively
Deliver outstanding customer service through clear and empathetic communication
Utilize CRM and other software tools to manage client information and interactions efficiently
Assist clients with billing inquiries, benefit-related questions, and general account support
Operate within established protocols while ensuring adherence to quality standards and service guidelines
Use chat platforms and other digital tools to support client interactions, as needed
Requirements:
Associate’s degree or higher preferred
equivalent education and work experience will be considered
At least 1–2 years of experience in a call center or customer service environment
Familiarity with social sciences such as psychology, sociology, or social work is advantageous
Proficiency in CRM systems, computer programs, and tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on clarity and empathy
Knowledge of platforms such as Avaya CMS, Epic Software, and other web-based systems
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is highly preferred
Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and handle multiple tasks efficiently
Nice to have:
