We are looking for a dedicated Customer Experience Specialist to join our mission-driven team in San Diego, California. Job Responsibility:
Address incoming inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information, referrals, or assistance tailored to individual needs
Record detailed and timely notes of all client interactions using web-based systems
Stay informed about available services, programs, and resources to ensure effective support
Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve client concerns and deliver comprehensive solutions
Maintain high standards of customer service through clear and empathetic communication
Utilize CRM tools and other software platforms to manage and track client engagement
Support billing and benefit-related queries, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Assist clients with navigating systems such as Epic Software or other relevant platforms
Handle inbound calls efficiently while prioritizing customer satisfaction
Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and client experiences
Requirements:
Associate’s degree or higher preferred
equivalent experience combined with education beyond high school will be considered
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service role
Familiarity with public health, social work, psychology, sociology, criminology, or related fields is advantageous
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with diverse populations
High proficiency in using web-based systems, chat platforms, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is highly desirable
Experience with CRM systems, Epic Software, and other tools such as Avaya CMS and ADP Financial Services
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail and quality service
Nice to have:
Familiarity with public health, social work, psychology, sociology, criminology, or related fields is advantageous
