We are looking for a motivated Customer Experience Specialist to join our team in San Diego, California. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in connecting individuals with vital services and resources, ensuring a positive and impactful experience for every interaction. Job Responsibility:
Respond to incoming calls and inquiries, providing accurate information, referrals, and support as needed
Document all client interactions promptly and accurately using web-based systems
Stay informed about available programs, services, and resources to effectively address client needs
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and resolution of client concerns
Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining a courteous and empathetic approach in all communications
Utilize CRM and other software tools to track and manage client cases efficiently
Assist with billing and benefit-related functions when applicable
Monitor and report call metrics using platforms like Avaya CMS to improve service outcomes
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures while handling sensitive information
Requirements:
Associate’s degree or higher preferred
equivalent experience and education beyond high school will be considered
Minimum of 1 year of call center experience, ideally in a customer-facing role
Background in social sciences, such as social work, psychology, sociology, or criminology, is advantageous
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and empathetically
Proficiency in CRM systems, chat platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with software tools like ADP, Epic Software, and About Time is beneficial
Bilingual Spanish/English skills are highly desirable
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality service
