We’re on the lookout for a highly skilled and motivational leader to manage our Customer Delivery Centre. At The Sofa Delivery Company, we believe in building strong relationships, and we need someone who can lead by example, inspiring our team to consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences. As Customer Delivery Manager, you’ll take full operational and financial responsibility for the smooth running of the site. Leading a large team, you’ll oversee the delivery, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to our customer promise. You'll use data to drive performance, manage costs, and work towards supporting our ESG goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead a team of installation experts to deliver 'Moments that matter' to customers
  • Inspire and develop the team to ensure operational excellence and great customer feedback
  • Work collaboratively with brand partners to deliver to expected standards
  • Control costs tightly in line with agreed budgets
  • Lead, coach, develop and motivate delivery and warehouse teams
  • Responsible for appraisals, performance management and development plans
  • Accountable for auditable compliance on vehicle and trailer maintenance, truck downloads, driver time directives
  • Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and warehouse housekeeping
  • Manage recruitment
  • Build strong relationships with partner brand retail teams
  • Proactively manage disciplinaries, sickness and people issues
  • Manage delivery partners for maximum efficiency and customer service
