Job Description

As a Customer Coordinator, supporting the in-store customer experience team, you will: - Oversee day-to-day operations that are assigned by the Team Leader, including opening and/or closing duties for the unit which also include key and alarm code responsibilities. - Troubleshoot and apply appropriate corrective actions such as emergency and incident response, authorization, access, etc. - Enhance the shopping journey of our visitors to IKEA by collaborating with all functions to increase co-worker competence and knowledge. - Ensure customers receive consistent information throughout their shopping journey. - Record information in the relevant systems to improve the customer's future shopping experience. - Enhance customer relationships to boost sales and ensure sustained profitability by understanding IKEA's product range and services. - When needed, offer alternative solutions that meet the needs of individual customers. - Forge a team mindset centered around first time right for every customer, ensuring a positive customer journey. - Take part in additional department responsibilities to secure the daily operation for co-workers and customers. - Contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers. Job Responsibility

Requirements

  • 3 years of related experience
  • 1 year of experience in a customer service and customer-focused environment
  • Physical Demands: Lifting, Pushing/Pulling, Sliding/Transferring and Carrying Occasionally (1-50lbs)
