Job Description

A leading global medical technology company is seeking a detail-oriented Service Portfolio Analyst (Customer Contract Admin - Analyst 2) to join their team in San Diego, CA. This role is responsible for evaluating customer contract redlines, assessing product eligibility for service renewals, and collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Contracts, and Service Operations to deliver accurate, compliant, and customer-friendly contract outcomes.

Job Responsibility

  • Evaluate and respond to customer contract redlines related to service terms, SLAs, warranties, and support obligations
  • Partner with Contracts, Sales, and Service Operations to interpret risk, propose compliant alternatives, and craft timely responses
  • Maintain a redline response repository and ensure alignment with policy and regulatory standards
  • Review customer products to determine eligibility for service contract renewals and new support agreements
  • Validate serials/SKUs, assess compatibility with service delivery capabilities, and identify gaps such as end-of-support units or non-standard configurations
  • Recommend remediation paths including upgrades, substitutions, time & material options, or tailored support exceptions
  • Provide final review output for accurate quoting, entitlement setup, and ongoing service execution
  • Check and manage Salesforce cases daily alongside other assigned projects
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Technical and Field Service, Contracts, and Quoting teams

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial contracting or service and support-related roles
  • Experience with SAP, Salesforce (SF.com), and Power BI preferred
  • Background in supply chain and procurement strategies is an advantage
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Office 365 - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, PowerApps, Visio
  • SAP and Salesforce proficiency
  • Data-driven mindset with strong Excel and dashboard creation skills
  • Strong contract literacy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving orientation
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision
  • Team player with a results-oriented and customer-focused approach
  • Bachelor's degree required
