As Customer Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Aftersales and Cashline duties.
Job Responsibility:
Processing returns and resolving customer issues, recognising when to escalate to someone with higher authorization
Resilience in assisting customers with more complicated issues
Supporting other areas of Customer Relations including working on the cashline and maintaining shopping tools (shopping baskets, trolleys, and yellow bags)
Recording information accurately in the system so we can continually make improvements to the customer shopping experience
Greeting visitors to IKEA by providing friendly, effective, and efficient information for customers
Handling cash and card payments in a reliable, efficient, accurate and friendly way
Securing that all products passing through the entrance are paid for
Supporting customers booking their home delivery and collecting their click and collect
Ensuring customers have a positive final touchpoint during the IKEA shopping experience
Requirements:
Previous experience in customer service
A passion for securing the best customer experience possible
Excellent communication skills
Able to work closely with your team and other departments or work independently
The ability to remain calm when faced with challenging situations
Ability to easily learn new computer systems, including point of sale systems, sales and returns platforms, and handheld devices
