Job Description:

As Customer Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: assisting customers with loading items into their vehicles; collecting trolleys; supporting other areas of Customer Relations; ensuring customers have a positive final touchpoint.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting customers with loading items into their vehicles
  • Collecting trolleys from around the IKEA store and carpark to ensure we always have them available to use
  • Supporting other areas of Customer Relations including resolving customer service issues, processing transactions, maintaining shopping tools (shopping baskets, trolleys, and yellow bags) and catalogues
  • Ensuring customers have a positive final touchpoint during the IKEA shopping experience

Requirements:

  • A passion for securing the best customer experience possible
  • Comfortable performing repetitive and heavy lifting tasks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A polite and friendly manner and a ‘Togetherness’ mindset
  • Able to work closely with your team and other departments or work independently
  • Basic computer and systems literacy
  • Availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts
  • Availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday)

  • Represent and be an ambassador for product recovery, quality, and safety awareness in the unit
  • Work closely with the different functions in the unit to ensure that common working routines and processes are followed related to product quality, safety and recovery
  • Support and execute the product quality and safety related tasks in the unit to constantly improve customers’ product quality perception of our IKEA products
