We are looking for a dedicated Customer Care Associate to join our team in Ukiah, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in providing exceptional administrative and customer service support to ensure smooth operations within our outpatient facility. Job Responsibility:
Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression and addressing their inquiries efficiently
Manage front office tasks, including scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and processing payments with accuracy
Maintain and update patient records, including scanning, data entry, and document management, while ensuring confidentiality
Assist with billing processes, collections, and check deposits to support financial operations
Coordinate referrals and follow-up appointments, ensuring seamless patient care transitions
Provide technical and clerical support for clinical teams, including preparing charts, graphs, and medical records
Respond to customer requests and concerns promptly, providing clear communication and solutions
Monitor and support office procedures, ensuring compliance with established protocols and standards
Collaborate with team members to improve workflow and enhance customer satisfaction
Perform other administrative duties as needed to support daily operations
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
an associate degree or combination of education and related experience is preferred
Proven experience in customer service, especially in a healthcare or outpatient setting
Strong skills in data entry, payment processing, and maintaining accurate records
Proficiency in using office software and databases for scheduling, billing, and document management
Familiarity with insurance verification, medical billing, and collection processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures is an advantage
