Job Description

Best of both worlds where you are not just sitting behind a desk all day! Based at Apex Car Rentals in Queenstown, we have a full-time position available for someone who has exceptional customer service skills and isn't afraid of hard work. We operate 7 days a week, on a rotating roster so there will be a requirement for you to work early mornings (from 8 am), afternoons, nights (until 6.30 pm), weekends and public holidays as required.

Job Responsibility

  • Interacting with customers, marketing products and services, completing rental transactions, contracts, and bookings
  • Inspecting vehicles for damages and maintenance issues
  • Driving and parking cars
  • Cleaning vehicles (interior and exterior) in the wash bay so they are ready for customers

Requirements

  • Full, clean, valid class 1 driver’s licence is essential for this role
  • Previous experience within retail, hospitality, customer service or similar roles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivery exceptional customer service
  • Comfortable learning and using various computer systems to accurately input rental information (training will be provided)
  • Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards
