Job Responsibility

Manage a transportation team and programs for all Meta’s locations including Meta Headquarters. Programs currently include shuttle bus network, vanpools, carpool, and rideshare coordination, guaranteed ride home administration, parking management, electric vehicle charging system, bike-to-work programs and infrastructure, international cab services, and public transit incentives and transportation benefits
Develop and implement organizational strategies that support growth, efficiency, and innovation in transportation services
Define the strategic direction for Meta’s Transportation Team, ensuring alignment with company priorities and long-term goals
Monitor day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless transportation services across all Meta sites
Serve as the primary point of contact for major incidents, escalations, and sensitive issues, ensuring timely and effective response
Develop strategic risk based vendor management approach ensuring that transportation solutions are effectively outsourced
Innovate new or calibrate existing approaches for increasing participation in alternative transportation programs and aggressively reducing single occupancy vehicles
Interface with external stakeholders (e.g., agencies, local governments, employers, transportation management associations, etc.) on transportation strategy, regulatory compliance and policy development. Monitor trends, identify opportunities and challenge areas, and drive improvements in commute efficiency and utilization
Develop and implement transportation policies, procedures, and programs
Develop transportation program data & metrics that support decision making, including routes, timetables, benefit utilization and drive participation
