Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

  • Become an expert advisor
  • An inspiration as well as a guide
  • The person who gets to know every customer and their home improvement projects
  • Sales
  • Managing stock
  • Setting up displays
  • Making sure your store looks great
  • Help update our ranges in store by safely changing the layout and shining the spotlight on new, exciting products
  • In times where no change is happening, have the opportunity to be trained in paint-mixing and cutting timber
  • Provide truly great customer service

Requirements:

  • A great communicator who can think clearly and make sound plans no matter how busy things get
  • Organised and analytical thinker
  • Know how to keep things simple
  • Know how to work as a team – supporting your fellow colleagues and working through what you need to do, together
  • Happy to expand your skills by using new technology and learning new ways of working
  • Great at working in a team
  • Flexible enough to work on a rota that includes weekends, evenings, and bank holidays
