Job Description:

The Town of Wellesley's Facilities Management Department (FMD) is seeking full-time custodian(s). This is an opportunity to join one of the top municipal facilities organizations in the area. Reporting to the Facility or Night Supervisor, the Custodian performs routine, detail, and project cleaning; minor maintenance; basic grounds work; building security; cafeteria support; and emergency snow/ice response. Work is performed independently following established procedures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Weekend, emergency, and stand-by availability are required. The current openings are in our Middle School building. Work schedule is Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. or Tuesday through Friday, from 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Vacation and summer schedules vary. Salary range is $22.75–$28.36/hour DOQ.
