Job Description:

Custodial Staff - Part Time, Hourly position. General cleaning and upkeep of various facility areas.

Job Responsibility:

  • General cleaning and upkeep of common spaces, restrooms, service support areas, offices, banquet halls, theaters, meeting rooms, and other areas within the facility
  • Cleaning public areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, elevators, stairs, glass railings, windows, and other general cleaning tasks as needed
  • General cleaning of employee areas and service support areas
  • Vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal in all areas
  • Floor maintenance including scrubbing, mopping, burnishing and other floor tasks as needed
  • Completing custodial checklists as necessary
  • Ensuring proper use and care of cleaning equipment and machines
  • Working with and directing work efforts of part time/temporary personnel
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Due to the varied nature of events, availability on nights, weekends and holidays may be required
  • Must be able to work independently as well as direct work efforts of others
  • Ability to read and follow directions is a must
  • Ability to bend, twist and lift 25 lbs regularly is required
  • Must be able to follow proper work procedures and safety requirements

Nice to have:

Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform simple repairs is helpful
