Job Description

ARAMARK is currently seeking Room Attendants for the Manic-5 site. Employees are provided with meals, individual room and bathroom, as well as access to a washer and dryer. Aramark offers a transportation allowance and highly competitive group insurance benefits. Position: Room Attendant. Location: Manic-5. Salary: $19.41 per hour, with annual increases based on union negotiations. Overtime is paid at time and a half. Schedule: Aramark offers work rotations of 4/3 or 7/7. Candidates must live in Baie-Comeau and surrounding areas or be able to travel to Baie-Comeau airport.

Job Responsibility

  • Clean and maintain rooms: cleaning, changing linens, restocking supplies
  • Maintain common areas: hallways, bathrooms, lobby, etc.
  • Provide customer service and respond to guest requests
  • Ensure hygiene and sanitation programs are followed
  • Be able to meet operational needs
  • Perform any other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • Training in hospitality or relevant experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently, with rigor and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Positive attitude, honesty, and good judgment
  • Professional appearance and discretion
  • Knowledge of hygiene standards and cleaning products
  • Good physical condition
  • Ability to work long hours on your feet
  • Class 5 driver’s license (asset).
