NEF is looking for a Curriculum Manager to drive growth in our energy education offerings. In this role, you will manage personnel, contractors and complex processes to create and maintain impactful curriculum - including print, e-learning, presentations and video for students and adults nationwide. This is a full-time position.
Job Responsibility:
Curriculum Strategy & Execution: Support the Curriculum Director and COO in the end-to-end planning, timeline tracking and execution of new and revised educational materials.
Upkeep and editing of print and digital curriculum assets.
Content Development: Write and refine high-quality lessons, scripts and digital curriculum that reflects NEF’s mission and objectives and stakeholder needs.
Quality Assurance & Efficacy: Manage the curriculum testing team, oversee revision cycles and facilitate user feedback sessions to ensure curriculum excellence.
Research and Accuracy: Maintain the integrity of educational content by performing rigorous research and updating approved statistics and verbiage guides in accordance with company standards and end user needs.
Leadership: Supervise the Presentation and Curriculum Specialist
manage external subcontractors, including contract development and payment processing
Lead or support communications and meetings.
Relationships & Culture: Build relationships of trust with internal teams and external stakeholders to champion NEF’s mission and foster a positive organizational culture.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional technology or relevant field preferred
Demonstrated ability to incorporate cutting edge technologies into curriculum
Strong teamwork skills to successfully analyze and incorporate a wide swath of feedback with minimal distress
At least three years of experience with professional writing (educational writing is a plus)
Project management experience
Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite of software programs
Experience with basic video editing, close captioning programs and/or Vimeo is a plus.
Strong organizational, communication and collaboration skills
Strong attention to detail – meticulous, accurate and thorough
Possesses the ability to accept constructive criticism professionally and incorporate it into future work.
Ability to work in a self-directed manner and report on multiple projects

Nice to have:
Graduate degree in a relevant field or additional experience
Multimedia endorsement with Instructional Technology degree
