About the Role: Curriculum Manager A Level Humanities. As a Curriculum Manager for A level Humanities, you will play a pivotal role in driving forward our strategic objectives and ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning, and learner experience across our Humanities curriculum (of A levels in History, Politics, Law, Religious Studies, Philosophy, Economics, Business and future V-Levels) and services.
Job Responsibility
Lead on the development and delivery of outstanding educational provision
Working collaboratively with staff across departments to implement innovative and inclusive practices that support both learners and colleagues to thrive
Line management of 14 staff, supporting their development and fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Prepare for and contribute to internal and external audits, inspections (e.g. Ofsted), and quality reviews
Deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in line with the requirements of various Awarding Bodies (Edexcel, AQA or OCR)
Inspire and support students to achieve their goals and progress within their chosen field
Requirements
Proven success in leading teams or departments within an educational or comparable setting
Deep understanding of curriculum design, quality assurance, and student achievement
Strong strategic thinking, communication, and people management skills
A collaborative mindset and the ability to build effective partnerships internally and externally
A commitment to creating inclusive and empowering learning environments
A proactive, strategic mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and learner success
A relevant teaching qualification and leadership training (or willingness to obtain these) with experience in teaching in one of these subjects: A levels in History, Politics, Law, Religious Studies, Philosophy, Economics, Business
