Job Description:

The Curriculum and LMS Specialist will support the Social Protection Capability Development Harmonization activity by providing technical inputs on curriculum structuring, learning design, and readiness for delivery through the DSWD Academy's learning platforms. Working under the guidance of the Training Specialist (Team Lead) and in close coordination with the DSWD Academy, the specialist will ensure that harmonized learning content is organized into clear module structures and learning pathways that are practical for implementation. Job Responsibility:

  • Provide technical inputs on curriculum structuring, learning design, and readiness for delivery through the DSWD Academy's learning platforms
  • Ensure harmonized learning content is organized into clear module structures and learning pathways that are practical for implementation
  • Review existing training materials and advise on how priority modules can be streamlined, standardized, and packaged for blended delivery
  • Provide recommendations on LMS requirements, content formatting, and digital deployment considerations
  • Ensure inclusive and accessible learning standards are applied in the packaging of learning materials, including digital modules

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree (master's degree or higher) in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning and Development, Curriculum Development, or a related field
  • Relevant certification or formal training in instructional design, e-learning development, LMS administration, or digital learning is an advantage
  • At least 7 years of demonstrated experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or learning and development, including development of training packages for government or large-scale programs
  • Proven experience developing modules for blended delivery (face-to-face and online), including structuring content, learning objectives, session plans, and learning assessments
  • Practical experience working with learning management systems, including content formatting standards and basic LMS deployment considerations
  • Experience working with government counterparts on institutionalization of training or e-learning systems is an advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to structure and standardize training curricula and translate technical content into clear module templates and learning materials
  • Proven experience packaging training modules for blended delivery, including face-to-face and e-learning formats
  • Strong understanding of LMS requirements and practical considerations for deploying course content online (including assessments, interactivity, and job aids)
  • Ability to develop prototype module packs and manage revisions based on technical validation feedback
  • Strong coordination and communication skills to work with technical specialists and government counterparts and integrate inputs into consolidated outputs
  • Demonstrated commitment to and understanding of GEDSI principles, with knowledge or experience in promoting gender equality, disability, and social inclusion especially within adaptive programs like SPRING
  • Compliance to DFAT policies on fraud control, financing terrorism, child protection and other social safeguards
