A respected food production company known for its quality products and team-oriented culture is seeking a Culinary Sales Specialist. Job Responsibility:

  • Build and maintain relationships with chefs, foodservice operators, and large corporate clients including airlines and catering companies
  • Conduct tastings and hands-on product demonstrations to current and prospective customers
  • Collaborate closely with R&D to support the development of custom menu items
  • Manage a personal schedule balancing office duties at the Compton facility and substantial regional/nationwide travel
  • Present the company's products at customer sites, tradeshows, and industry events
  • Support client success by understanding operational needs and offering tailored solutions

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional culinary experience (e.g., chef, sous chef, or similar roles)
  • Strong passion for food, industry trends, and innovation
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build meaningful client relationships
  • Willingness and ability to travel 50–75% nationwide
  • Self-motivated and organized, comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Nice to have:

  • Previous sales or customer-facing experience is a plus
  • Experience with live product demonstrations or culinary presentations
  • Familiarity with CRM tools or territory management
