Job Description

Join TUI Hotels & Resorts in Croatia for Summer 2026 in Culinary positions including Steward, Cook, Pastry Chef, Butcher, and Chef de Partie. Seasonal contracts are from April to October 2026, with opportunities for career development and various benefits.

Job Responsibility

  • preparing and presenting high-quality food according to the hotel’s standards
  • maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety standards
  • daily kitchen operations, including stocking, cleaning, and equipment maintenance
  • following recipes and portion control to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • collaborating with colleagues to deliver excellent guest experiences

Requirements

  • EU national
  • good level of English
  • previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
  • strong work ethic
  • reliability
  • ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and public holidays

  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen organisation across all back-of-house areas
  • Support menu execution and development, ensuring recipe compliance, consistency, and innovation across all food offerings
  • Lead the kitchen team by example, promoting professionalism, strong communication, teamwork, and high culinary standards
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, rota planning, and section allocation to ensure effective staffing and smooth operations
  • Train, mentor, and develop junior chefs through coaching, feedback, and day-to-day support
  • Help create a positive kitchen culture that supports learning, accountability, and continuous development
  • Support labour planning and stock management to maintain efficient staffing levels and minimise waste
  • Assist with ordering, stock rotation, storage standards, and stock takes to ensure strong operational control
