A Culinary Manager in Training (MIT) shares passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about creating the ultimate service experience. The Culinary Manager in Training will work closely with the Executive Chef, Banquet Chef, and Sous Chefs to oversee daily kitchen operations, develop menus, supervise production, and uphold the highest standards of food quality, safety, and guest satisfaction. This role offers a comprehensive learning experience across multiple outlets in a luxury hotel environment, preparing candidates for future leadership roles within the culinary department.
Job Responsibility:
Work closely with the Executive Chef, Banquet Chef, and Sous Chefs to oversee daily kitchen operations
Develop menus
Supervise production
Uphold the highest standards of food quality, safety, and guest satisfaction
Requirements:
Must be able to stand, walk, and move continuously during the shift
Requires frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying of up to 50 pounds
Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, and reach throughout the shift
Ability to handle repetitive motions and long periods of focus while preparing food or working at a station
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Flexible schedule, ability to work morning, afternoon, or evening shifts, weekends, and holidays
