The Four Seasons Hotel Seoul is looking for a Culinary Logistics Assistant, who shares a passion for excellence and who infuse enthusiasm into everything they do. This position reports to the Chief Butcher.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct quality checks on all incoming food deliveries
Receive, inspect, and store all food related deliveries, ensuring compliance with HACCP and Four Seasons’ food safety standards
Verify temperature, packaging integrity, and product freshness
Verify weights, cuts, grades, and product specifications of incoming food deliveries
Maintain cleanliness and organization of shared walk-in fridges, freezers, and storeroom
Organization & segregation of products for delivery to each outlet
Requirements:
High School Graduate
Prior Experience in a Hotel Receiving Dept or High-Volume Kitchen preferred
Receiving Clerk experience or formal Culinary Training is highly desirable
In-depth knowledge of meat, seafood, fruits, vegetables, and specialty products
Knowledge of Weights, Cut, Grade, and Freshness Indicators
Knowledge of Purchase Order Specifications
Strong organizational skills
Familiarity with HACCP and other food safety standards
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
Ability to work in cold or warm environments
Strong attention to detail
Critical thinking and Problem Solving skills
Ability to work independently without constant supervision
Strong relationship-building skills, especially in managing cross-departmental collaboration and working with suppliers
Ability to work in and support teams
Must already possess valid work authorization in South Korea
